Grain Transportation

Field to farm, farm to elevator, and anywhere in between. Premium Ag Services runs semi trucks and trailers hauling grain across northern Illinois — harvest crunch or scheduled runs, we keep it moving so your operation doesn't stall waiting on a truck.

When you need us

Harvest. This is the one that matters. A combine sitting still because there's nowhere to put grain is the most expensive machine on your farm. When your own trucks are covered and the elevator line is long, we add capacity for the weeks you actually need it — not the whole year.

Farm to elevator. Moving stored grain when you decide to sell, on your timing rather than whoever has a truck free.

Field to farm. Getting grain off the field and into your own bins during harvest, so the combine keeps running.

Bin to bin. Consolidating between sites, or clearing a bin that needs to move.

Why hire it out

A truck is a large fixed cost that earns for a few weeks a year. Grain hauling is seasonal by nature — the demand spikes hard at harvest and goes quiet the rest of the year, which is exactly the wrong shape for owning more equipment than you need.

Hiring capacity for the crunch means you size your own fleet for the ordinary weeks and bring in trucks for the ones that decide your season.

Working with us

We are a working farm services operation, not a freight broker. When you call, you talk to the person who is scheduling the trucks. If we can't cover your dates we will tell you straight rather than string you along into harvest.

Where we haul

Kendall, LaSalle, Grundy, DeKalb, Kane, Will, and surrounding counties — roughly 100 miles from Newark, Illinois, and farther when it makes sense.
